Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT (including metropolitan, regional and remote locations) since 1984. We arrange the provision of an extensive range of Aged Care Support Services and Disability Support Services (for all ages).
Our focus is on delivering the highest quality personalised services to assist Participants to remain living in their own home and community to improve the quality of their life.
All Support Workers are required to participate in a comprehensive orientation and training program provided by Southern Cross before commencing work. You will also receive further ongoing support and training. All orientation and training is provided cost-free by Southern Cross.

Types of Support Workers
Southern Cross organises opportunities for a variety of Support Workers with skills ranging from basic experience to formal nursing qualifications. Support Workers are supported by Southern Cross’ skilled Regional Community Coordinators (Registered Nurses) and Roster Admin Coordinators.
Support Workers include:
- Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs)
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Support Workers – Aged Care
- Support Workers – Disability Care
