About Southern Cross
Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT (including metropolitan, regional and remote locations) since 1984. We arrange the provision of an extensive range of Aged Care Support Services and Disability Services (for all ages). (see below)

Southern Cross has formal Quality Management and Accreditation Systems in place that endorse industry best practice and standards. This system meets the requirements of a range of external Government standards including:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme Practice Standards – NDIS Quality And Safeguards Commission
- Australia Community Industry Standard (2018) – ACIS
- Aged Care – Aged Care Standards – Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
- Work Health & Safety (WHS) Approved
These Quality Management Systems are an endorsement of Southern Cross’ commitment to the highest professional standards and levels of quality support and service. These Quality Systems provide an assurance to our Participants of our Best Practice and Quality Services.

The services are aimed at supporting your individual needs to maintain independence and connection to the community. Southern Cross’ focus is on improving your wellness and independence.
Southern Cross’ priority is to assist you in achieving your goals to remain living at home. We help you to achieve this through a Consumer Directed Care approach. This means that you have control over the care and services you receive including the selection of Support Workers. We provide various quality services in your home, including personal care, in-home respite care, domestic assistance and social support.
Our experienced team of locally based Regional Community Coordinators (Registered Nurses) supervise and develop your care plan in conjuction with you. Your Plan takes into account your funding, goals and support needs, ensuring that you receive the care and support tailored to your individual circumstances.
